A way to stay with yourself when attention won’t settle
What Is EFT Tapping
A simple guide to EFT tapping, how it works, and how it is used throughout
The Super Glue Healing Library
What is EFT Tapping?
EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, although most people simply call it tapping.

Tapping involves gently tapping on a series of points on the face and upper body while focusing on a thought, feeling, memory, or situation that is causing distress.

Most tapping sessions follow a simple structure:

-
Identify what is bothering you.
-
Notice how intense it feels.
-
Begin with a setup statement that acknowledges what is happening.
-
Tap through a series of points while following the words.
-
Pause and notice what, if anything, has changed.

Many people use tapping during periods of stress, anxiety, heartbreak, grief, uncertainty, overwhelm, or emotional pain.
Throughout The Super Glue Healing Library, tapping is used as a way of slowing down, staying present, and creating a little more space around difficult thoughts and feelings.

You do not need any previous experience to begin.
You simply follow the words and tap the points as you go.

The tapping sessions used throughout The Super Glue Healing Library are designed to be simple and manageable.
Most sessions take around 12 minutes to complete, making them easy to use during a difficult moment or as part of a daily practice.

One of the reasons many people find tapping helpful is that it is simple, private, and easy to use.
You can tap at home, in the car, on a walk, before bed, or during a difficult moment.

Once you know the points, it becomes a practice you can take with you wherever you go.
